2008 was actually just going to be another year but I think the year end holiday was good somehow compared to my previous holidays which I'd spent rotting away. I did get a 'scoop ice-cream' job I've always wanted. This holiday I took time to enjoy myself, catch up with people, work (even though some days my life seems to be work, eat, sleep, repeat), volunteer, and continue what I like doing . I kind of understand what 'so much to do, so little time' means now because I've always been feeling 'so much time, so little to do'. I didn't go to the zoo for my annual visit, didn't really go overseas, didn't revamp my room afterall, didn't do up any photo albums and what not haha maybe next time. Ok I had wanted to do some new year resolutions at work because I am not busy most of the time but haha I just didn't 'cause I just spent the time staring at the tempting gelato (A) I know I won't remember my resolutions anw so I need just 1 general resolution uh in 2009 I... will not hxxx sxxxxxx txxxxxx. (lol I hope I remember what the x's are)

I think I learnt the most from work

1 $$$ really doesn't come by easy. I've become more thrifty-minded I guess. Mummy used to always refill my pouch so I don't usually realise how much money I've spend and how much I've left but now I tend to take a mental note (y) 2 Treat people the way you want them to treat you. Not the way they treat you. All we need is a clear conscience :) It's their problem that they suck at being humans if we act like them we would suck big time too. Eh but I still roll my eyes a little sometimes 'cause really cannot take it so I'm still struggling with this I think I need more practice. 3 Step out of comfort zone. Having to give out samples almost every time at Yogurt means that I have to approach so so so many total strangers and I'm totally not the outgoing kind but now I'm quite used to it and mmm I shouldn't be afraid to do something different :) And usually my father fetches me everywhere and now I take the public transport more than ever mm I've grown to be independent :) 4 Do not judge. I kind of disliked some people who come and try so many samples and then walk away 'cause I thought they were damn cheapskate and everything but then Mummy told me that some people really cannot afford especially some parents who have many children and have to pay a lot to please all of them. And the yogurt is not mine anw so no need to be kiamsiap :)

Oh anw I had work at Gelato on the first 3 days of 2009. Didn't really celebrate the new year or anything just went for dinner with the parents after work at some Upper Thomson place ooh crabzz. Wei Jing came down for brownie on the 2nd and the parents for waffles on the 3rd!! :)
